'Battle of the Planets' is a show which I first saw in 1978. Other than Star Wars, it was the coolest thing I had ever seen. 5 teenagers, wearing bird costumes and using cool weapons and superpowers, fighting invaders from space. The station I watched it on ran the 85 episodes everyday after school for at least two years. I saw them all, and remembered them. Since then, I had wanted to see it again, but never could. Of course, over time, I found out that the show was adapted from a Japanese anime called "Gatchaman", and that it was much more adult in nature. When I got online, I began to find all kinds of stuff about these shows, and met a lot of people through a mailing list where we talk about the shows, and write stories, called 'fanfics' featuring our favorite characters.
Here on this site, you can find my own fanfics, based in the realm of 'Battle of the Planets', as well as links to other great fan sites that have all the info one could ever need about the show. I don't repeat it here, as, well....I'd be stealing it from these links. Since I consider them friends, I can't do that.
