Here's who I think some of the Battle of the Planets characters
remind me of in real life. I'll add as I find more. I'm trying
to find people who could do the job today, if the movie was being
cast, so that limits things a little!
Ken/Mark: Ashton Kutcher
(Yeah, he's the airhead Kelso on 'That 70's Show', but he's
the right age, and there's something about that hair...I've included
2 shots...one as Kelso, for that 70's hair, and a clearer pubstill
for his face)
Jason/Joe: Joaquin Phoenix
(I'll get a better pic of Joaquim soon, but check out this
REAL mag cover, and my alteration....The bird necklace, and it's
colors, are perfect...not to mention the Birds of Paradise caption.
Oh, and I guess the last name PHOENIX doesn't hurt. I picture
this magazine coming out on the breakup of the team. Jun ends
up with Joe, Ken's symbolic prescence over Jun's heart.) With
Joaquin..it's the eyes that makes him Joe/Jase.
Princess/Jun: Liv Tyler
(With Liv...it's the eyes and hair that bring her close to
Jun/Prin. Well, those pouty red lips are ok too!)
Mala: Traci Lords (and in my Fanfic entitled 'Donald', it's
very suitable.)
